How To Lose A Friend in 12 Easy Steps

(A True Story)

Are you someone looking to lose a friend? Or just someone who values superficial things over real friends? Or just someone out of control when things don't go your way?

Or maybe, someone who is in desperate need of a true friend but doesn't know how to keep them and so, only ends up with superficial friends every now and then?

Here is how two friends got turned off by a friend whom they admire, respect and really look up to...

Step 1. Call your friend in the middle of the night and ask them where they are. Don't bother with "hi" or "hello". Just say, "where are you?"

Step 2. Demand that they come over at your place right that instant because you need an audience for your rantings about your boyfriend. Tell them that you are going to pick them up if they say no and give you excuses like, there's no cab, or that they are on their way home from work and that they are really tired. Who cares if it's already way past midnight? You need an audience! Only that matters!

Step 3. Tell them to buy you your favorite expensive ensaymanda, once they agree to come over.  Oh, so what if they had to go all the way back inside the mall and search for the store? They shouldn't be a baby and get you what you want.

On Writing: Why Am I Scared to Write?

I have always (secretly) took pride in my writing ability. I've always thought... believed... that I could write. I mean, really write and get published someday. But to date, I still haven't published anything yet. Except some poems way back in high school, when I was a managing editor and literary editor of our school paper, but nothing in any major or even small commercial publication. Unless you count that one time in Reader's Digest in their "You Said It" section back in 2002, when I submitted my opinion about cloning, that's it. I'm not even close to finishing a decent novel.

Anyway, here's a proof of that published opinion in Reader's Digest. What the heck? I might as well immortalize it here...
Reader's Digest August 2002 Issue

Yes, I have been talking about... been telling myself that I am going to devote time to writing. To allot hours everyday to sit and put my thoughts and the plots in my head on paper, but I never seem to get around to actually doing it. I seem to always find an excuse. My day job, the stress, the timing... etc... etc...  Even when I took a break from work and stayed at home for one whole year, I still found excuses. The dishes, the laundry, the bathroom, the cooking, etc... etc...

On Getting Pregnant: While some women...

23 May 2017

While some women have no trouble getting knocked up, I go through a lot of trouble just to get pregnant. We have been trying for years. Well, I once did but it was short-lived and we’ve been trying again since.

While some women try to avoid sex to prevent pregnancy, I am trying to have as much sex as possible to get pregnant and take vitamins in case I do succeed. While some women are cautious about having sex during their fertile window, I make it a point to have sex within that period. I track my cycle days. Monitor my temperature, weight, cervical mucus and cervix position to determine my ovulation day and make sure I have sex on that very day. Yes, I perform an internal examination on my vagina everyday.
